OL 200D 1000-W Irradiance Standard (Total Irradiance)

The OL 200D is a 1000-W DXW Total Irradiance standard lamp. These lamps have tungsten coiled-coil filaments enclosed in a small quartz envelope and 1000-W DXW lamps have the ability to be calibrated out to 4500 nm.

The OL 200D uses the OL 410-1000 Precision Lamp Source, OL 56 Lamp Holder and the OL 63 Adjustable Lamp Holder Mount.

Description

The OL 200D is a 1000-W DXW Total Irradiance standard lamp. These lamps have tungsten coiled-coil filaments enclosed in a small quartz envelope and 1000-W DXW lamps have the ability to be calibrated out to 4500 nm.

The Spectral Irradiance standards issued by Optronic Laboratories are based on the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) Spectral Irradiance Scale
for the wavelength range of 250 to 2400 nm and on a blackbody for the wavelength range above 2400 nm. The NIST Scale has an uncertainty (k=2) of 0.63% in the visible, 1.56% in the ultraviolet at 250 nm, and 0.31% in the infrared at 2000 nm.

Calibration of the 1000-W DXW lamps are available with two levels of accuracy: high-accuracy and super high-accuracy. The High-Accuracy Standards of Spectral Irradiance issued by Optronic Laboratories have a transfer uncertainty (k=2) relative to the NIST Scale of ± 1-2%. The Super High-Accuracy Standards have a transfer uncertainty relative to the NIST Scale of ± 0.5%.

1 YEAR STANDARD WARRANTY

Optronic Laboratories warrants that the standard lamp supplied will be of the kind described or in any specification and drawings approved by Optronic Laboratories and will be free from defects in material and workmanship for 50 hours of use or one (1) year from the date of certified calibration by the original Purchaser, whichever occurs first.* During this period, Optronic Laboratories will at its option either repair, recalibrate, or replace any goods that are found to be defective in material or workmanship, provided the goods are returned to Optronic Laboratories in Orlando, Florida, with all shipping, insurance, and delivery charge prepaid (DDU Orlando, Florida). This Warranty does not extend to batteries, fuses, and glass phototubes (if any), or other items of limited durability, nor does this warranty cover damage to goods caused by leaky or otherwise defective batteries, by Purchaser use of improper batteries and by misuse or abuse, unauthorized alteration, excessive line voltage, excessive temperatures (above 160 degrees F), extreme environmental conditions (such as extremely dusty or wet environment), corrosive atmospheres or servicing by unauthorized personnel. The items returned shall only be accepted when accompanied by a written statement setting forth the nature and suspected cause of the alleged deficiencies. After the initial one (1) year warranty, repairs performed by Optronic Laboratories are covered under a limited ninety (90) day warranty. The warranty repaired (or recalibrated, or replacement) items will be returned DDU to customer. THERE ARE NO OTHER WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, (INCLUDING THE WARRANTY OF FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE OR IMPLIED WARRANTY OF MERCHANTABILITY) OTHER THAN THE WARRANTY SET FORTH HEREIN.
